Spring perch fishing is a great trip. A 15 fish limit per person with 12" fish very common, makes for a great morning or afternoon on the water, close to home!

Who is Captain Mel?
Captain Mel Christensen is an expert, professional, full-time fishing guide providing his services in the Midwestern U.S. region.

Mel offers his services as a skilled guide for finding and catching salmon and perch in Lake Michigan off of the Port of Waukegan or Winthrop Harbor in Illinois.

While Captain Mel still pursues springtime salmon and perch on Lake Michigan, most of his time is spent on Lake Geneva & Delavan in southern Wisconsin.

Capt. Mel with an outstanding musky! Excellent bass & pike fishing exists on these waters and Mel has guided many guests to their personal best fish!

Sport fishing is Mel's specialty, but his mission is to make sure his clients have a good time. Mel puts forth the extra effort to make your trip enjoyable.

Safety is always a priority and Mel's boat is rigged to U.S. Coast Guard standards with the appropriate safety equipment.
