You'll fish with the latest equipment.

Anglers will fish aboard the latest model, 20½ foot Lund 2025 Pro-V SE boat powered by a 250 horsepower Evinrude motor.  While Capt. Mel can’t think of anything more enjoyable than spending a day on the water, he does take the responsibilities as a charter captain seriously. His boat is big, safe, roomy and comfortable. He's fully insured, the equipment is top notch and Coast Guard approved.

Along with the expertise of Captain Mel, your excursion will be guided by the latest in Lowrance electronics including satellite navigation and depth finding equipment. The boat is equipped with a Honda 4 cycle and a Motorguide trolling motor.

All fishing gear including rods, reels and tackle is provided. Musky anglers are encouraged to provide their own equipment unless previous arrangements are made.

What should I bring?

All anglers must have the appropriate fishing licenses for the location where we’ll be fishing. I can help you secure the necessary documents.  Except during hazardous weather conditions,  Mel goes fishing rain or shine, hot weather or cold and can provide you with recommendations regarding adequate attire.  Rest assured we will never venture out when there is any doubt about the weather or conditions on the water.
